The Weathered Barn


The Weathered Barn has been one of my favorite and most extensive rebranding projects. Starting as a small shop in Sugar Loaf NY, Rena and Jason Wilhelm artfully crafted a brand that has evolved into a sophisticated and understand phenomenon with an incredible following. After moving out to the east end of Long Island, however, their brand shifted by really embodying  a mixture of the natural and industrial beauty of their new home. It was that change that sparked their rebranding. Building from the ground up, I simplified their logo into something much more graphic and linear. The crossed fork and hammer embodies the playful and inventive nature of their work that often involves repurposing items like vintage silverwear. Their packaging is clean and minimalist - inspired by antique apothecary jars and general store packaging.
